Why This Agreement Matter

Due to your dog’s age, they may be at increased risk for health complications during the grooming process. Conditions such as arthritis, heart disease, respiratory issues, or decreased skin elasticity can increase your pet’s sensitivity to certain procedures. At Kritter Kare Spa, we prioritize your dog’s comfort and safety. It is important to understand and acknowledge the potential risks involve.

Acknowledgment of Risks and Grooming Procedures

1. Health and Physical Condition

• I understand that my dog’s age and health conditions may pose additional risks during grooming, and I have disclosed all known health issues to Kritter Kare Spa.

2. Grooming Process Limitations

• I understand that certain grooming procedures (e.g., nail trimming, brushing, drying) may be modified or omitted to maintain my dog’s comfort and safety. Kritter Kare Spa will prioritize my dog’s well-being over cosmetic outcomes.

3. Risk of Injury or Illness

• I acknowledge that grooming senior dogs carries inherent risks, including injury, illness, or stress. I release Kritter Kare Spa, its staff, and affiliates from liability for any such issues that may arise during or after grooming, unless caused by gross negligence.

4. Emergency Care Consent

• In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Kritter Kare Spa to seek veterinary care for my dog at my expense. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact me before any treatment is administered.

5. Owner Responsibility

• I understand that it is my responsibility to inform Kritter Kare Spa of any recent changes in my dog’s health, behavior, or medications.

6. Indemnity Clause

• I agree to be responsible for any costs, damages, or injuries caused by my dog due to pre-existing conditions, behavior, or health complications during the grooming process.

  
  

Release and Waiver of Liability

By signing below, I confirm that I am the legal owner of the dog named below. I have read and understood the terms of this release form. I agree to release Kritter Kare Spa, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims or liabilities related to the grooming of my senior dog, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
