Hello from Kritter Kare Spa! I’m Kirstin, a passionate pet lover and professional groomer dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized care for your furry family members. My journey began in 2017 with cat-sitting services after struggling to find someone who truly understood my own pets’ needs. What started as a small solution quickly grew into a career built on trust, relationships, and a deep love for animals.

In 2020, I discovered my passion for dog grooming. I began with online education and hands-on practice, which led to a one-on-one apprenticeship with a master groomer. Through continued education, workshops, and industry conventions, I’ve refined my skills and developed a grooming approach centered on both quality and compassion.

Over time, my focus has evolved beyond grooming aesthetics into holistic skin and coat care. Specialized training opened my eyes to how impactful proper grooming can be for a pet’s overall health, comfort, and quality of life. That shift sparked my commitment to advancing my knowledge and pursuing certification as a Pet Esthetician.

In January 2026, I welcomed a 7-month-old show prospect into my family, Pine Spring Dazhbog the Triumph of Light. He is a Tornjak, a livestock guardian breed native to Bosnia and Croatia. We are actively training and conditioning his body, mind, and coat to ensure he is in peak condition for the show ring. This journey continues to deepen my understanding of coat care, structure, and overall canine wellness at a higher level.

As I pursue this path, I will be traveling for dog shows throughout the year. I aim to keep my travel primarily within the southern regions to minimize schedule disruptions and reduce the need for appointment rescheduling, so I can continue providing consistent care for my clients.
